Airport – Cancún Airport is located 11 miles from Cancún Downtown, 15 miles from Zone Hotelera where the ICC Centre is situated. Cancún Airport is easily reach by State Road 307 or by the different transportation options available from and to Cancún Airport - https://www.cancunairport.com/ Airport Transfers – You can book airport transfers through our preferred company in the local area, Maritur DMC. https://groups.maritur.com/STS-EACTS/index.php Banks & Exchange – There are several banks with ATMs throughout the Zona Hotelera and downtown on Avenida Tulum. Cancún’s airport also has ATMs and money exchange. Credit Cards – Credit cards are widely accepted in Mexico, especially in most hotels and restaurants. However, some of the smaller merchants may accept only cash. Currency – Mexican peso (M$). US$ are easy to exchange and Sterling (£), Euros (€) and Canadian $ can also be changed at most banks. Electricity – The electricity standard in Mexico is 110 volt AC, the same as in the US and Canada. Three prong outlets are not readily available so an adaptor is a good idea. The larger hotels have converters for most 220-volt devices. Shopping Hours – Shops are usually open late morning – late evening every day.
